Assisting parolees and their familes

 Step by Step is a community coalition of religious and civic organizations working with the Redlands Police Department's Police And Corrections Team (PACT), for the successful re-entry of parolees into Redlands. For individuals on parole, re-entry into the community is a critical issue with multiple obstacles of joblessness, homelessness, lack of transportation, lack of affordable housing. The recidivism rate in the state of California runs around 80 percent, while in the Redlands area it is remarkably around only 11 percent.
